The Tributaries of Mahanadi are the source of water. River Balam Delhi forms the western boundary and Jonk River forms the north-eastern boundary of the Sanctuary. The well stocked forests of the Sanctuary Classified as Teas sal and mixed forests. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCrocodile Exhibit will display Marsh Crocodile (Crocodylus palustris) in their natural habitat in a total area of 9,500 sq.m., with 350 sq.m. of holding-pan area to feed them. A small & a large sand bed is also developed for Basking for these elongated, robust powerful jaw bearer crocodiles. The complete area is fenced with 2m high chain link fence.

In India three different species of crocodiles are found : marsh crocodile, selt-water crocodile and gharial.\nRoyal Bengal tiger is developed in total area of 2430 SQM that includes paddock area of about 1945 SQM and dry moat. The lion enclosure is constructed in a huge area of 2550 SQM with dry moat and 2511 SQM paddock area. Nandanvan Jungle Safari has already attracted a lot of attention. The LEOPARD ENCLOSURE encompasses an area of 2070 SQM. The WHITE TIGER ENCLOSURE enclosure tries to offer tigers a varied and naturalistic habitat. This village is of religious as well as historical significance as it is regarded to be the birthplace of the Sant Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya, the founder, pioneer and reformer of the Vallabh Sect. It is thus, a popular Vaishnava Peeth.

Gangrel Dam: Another name of the Gangrel Dam is Ravishankar Dam. In the Dhamtari District, this location is quite a famous spot for the visitors. The dam has been constructed along the breadth of the river named Mahanadi. The distance of the dam is 15 Kms. A Hydel power projects named the Gangrel Hydel Power Project of 10 MV capacity has been developed here. The power for the neighboring area is produced. As much as 15,000 cusec of water is

It is a big waterfall located 25km from Jatmai Temple. In Gatarani Temple Navratri festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm and devotion. Here we sees a decoration especially on festive occasions like Navratri. After the monsoon it is the best time for visit. Beautiful waterfall flows near the temple, which makes this place more attractive The waterfall in full flow to make the destination as a favorite picnic spot for the whole family.Waterfall is the best place to take a dip before entering the temple.
